Nintendo Power gave the game a rating of 3.075 out of 5. A review of the 1992 version of Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego? by Gary Hartley for HonestGamers concluded by saying: „For the most part, this is a good game. It has its share of flaws, but you should find it above average overall“. Hartley gave the game a score of 6/10 (Good).
Once you get enough information about the suspect, you can transmit this information to Warren the Warrant Robot to make him get a warrant for you. If you’re not sure about the information you’ve entered, you can look up the dossiers on each suspect.
Sign your name up, then listen to the chief give you details about the suspect and the loot stolen by them, the location where the suspect was last seen, and the deadline by which you have to apprehend the suspect by. Question witnesses and contact informants to get information on the next location that the suspect headed to, as well as any information that could lead to a warrant. (You cannot arrest the suspect without one.) Determining where to go next will require research on your part, as everyone you question will reveal places, not cities that appear on the travel map.

IGN’s Top 100 games list encompasses the best of the best throughout history, spanning generations of consoles, PCs, handhelds, and more. Our list last saw a major update back in 2019, and since then, there have been several games released that deserved to be added. Just as importantly, we looked at the totality of the top 100 as it stood and asked ourselves a few key questions. This lead to some beloved games dropping off, and other games we previously missed being added.
Final Fantasy VII is a landmark JRPG for a variety of reasons, but many of its achievements have now been lost to the winds of time and technological progress. Yet, its age has done nothing to change its status as the series’ most popular and beloved entry, which has come about thanks to its wide cast of detailed, emotionally-driven characters that journey through one of the most memorable worlds to emerge from Japan’s development scene. The pacing of its continually timely tale is its masterstroke; Square allows you to slowly fall for its rag-tag bunch of eco-terrorists before introducing its main villain – the forever chilling Sephiroth – and then focusing the story on much more personal stakes, despite the looming apocalypse. While overall the story is heavy, the world thrives on its idiosyncrasies – a variety of bizarre enemies, comedic minigames, and absurdly sized swords. It’s this combination of light and dark that makes Final Fantasy VII such an enduring classic. – Matt Purslow (Read IGN’s Review)
Microsoft Flight Simulator lives up to its name by simulating the thrill of flying in a way that still makes the process feel magical. Players can pilot a variety of planes across a real-time simulation of the planet. If the weather report says it’s raining in Toronto, then Microsoft Flight Simulator lets gamers fly a plane through the storm or avoid it. The game even includes a variety of options to make each flight as arcadey or realistic as players want.
In recent years, Ubisoft’s open worlds, like Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry, have increasingly become “checklists,” giving you an absurd amount of map markers to unveil, quests to tackle, and items to collect. While Star Wars Outlaws still uses that same basic formula, its approach is drastically more exploration-focused. You have general guidance for main quests, but Kay will often have to explore wide areas to find an objective or person, and exploration, in general, can lead to a domino effect of uncovering new things to do. Maybe you lean against the cantina wall and listen in on a conversation, or pick up a datapad while scouring an abandoned outpost. There are so many ways to uncover new quests and details in Outlaws, all of which engross you in the game’s world even further.
The station had a cantina—the third cantina I’d visited in as many hours. I needed access to the restricted section in the back, and while I probably could’ve lockpicked a door or knocked out a few guards to get in, I opted to skip the theatrics and bribe the bartender. Finally I found my guy hiding in a storage room, and he made a last minute offer: Let him go, get paid double, and get in good with his friends at Crimson Dawn (a rival faction you probably don’t remember from the Han Solo movie). I kept my word and turned him in, a choice that came with consequences later.
There’s an unmistakable sluggishness to the action—like Uncharted playing back at half speed. Kay’s modest sprint, lackadaisical melee takedowns, and a limp self-preservation instinct from enemies failed to get my heart pumping. I’m hoping that some of this can be explained by the demo environment—it’s possible difficulty was dialed down to make sure anyone could finish it. But from what I’ve seen those YouTubers who put together cool stealth kill montages have their work cut out for them making Outlaws’ combat look exciting.
Speaking of hacking, I’m an instant fan of Outlaws’ takes on lockpicking and computer „slicing.“ Kay picks locks using the same twisty key device that we always see R2D2 open doors with, but Ubisoft has gamified that tech into a quick rhythm minigame. As the concentric circles of gears rotate, you listen for beeps, remember the rhythm, then repeat it a few times to beat the lock. Slicing is even better—in a stroke of borrowed genius, hacking in Outlaws is basically a miniature version of Wordle with symbols instead of letters. Toward the end of my demo, I followed a quest that led to a slicing tech upgrade that unlocked a harder version of the minigame with more symbols.
This setup is the perfect segue into an open world Star Wars game, giving Kay free rein on a handful of planets as she tracks down a cornucopia of slimeballs and criminals. This is a grounded story about personal freedom and finding your place, thankfully devoid of any big moral battles between Jedi and Sith. It’s an approach that feels refreshing, filled with the lighthearted sense of adventure at the core of everything Star Wars.
